My short has made it into the finals of the Nickelodeon Animation festival :D

It's super exciting, even though I haven't won any of the main prizes.

Still, I have some faint, misguided hopes about the "Viewers choice" award, so please vote for my animation if you like it!

Shiny! is also on there somehow, so you could vote for that one too if you want.

They're going to be on TV soon! Tuesday 11/17 at 4:58PM ET on Nicktoons in the US.

The best part was when people actually found the funny bits funny.

Torino flash festival nomination

"Best Present Ever" was shortlisted in the Animation category of the Torino Flash Festival, and screened in Italy. I wish I could have been there, by their photos it looks like good times were had by all. :)

Bafta Cymru Award nomination

For my graduate film, "Best present ever".
Yeah, I was shocked too. It's all very exciting :D

I went to the event on Sunday with some of the Dinamo people. Didn't win the award, but hey, I'm happy with it just being there in the first place!
It was a great night, I don't think I've dressed that fancy since the day I was christened in a frilly dress.

Being completely dorky, I took pictures of the screen when they showed my clip. I'll post them here as soon as I can find my cameras' USB cable.. :)

Yesterday, my 3rd year film Best present ever won a "Highly commended" award at Animated Exeter, which makes me so happy that I'm not going to complain about their techical difficulties, which resulted in them not showing my film!... :)

Instead, here's a sketch.
